The dance lovers of the city are experiencing the essence of Ballet dancing in a ballet workshop.
A ballet workshop is being organised at Gandhi Bhavan hall wherein the dancers are preparing a ballet ‘Saket’ with some new movements. Saket is a poem written by Maithli Sharan Gupt.
As many as 20 artists will showcase the lyrically adorned ballet. There have also been some changes made in the script. Currently the participants are rehearsing for the ballet at Gandhi Bhavan hall.
It is to be noted that ballet dance form is innovative and enjoyable. little things are explained through movements and expressions. Dance is something which is enjoyed by every individual. This workshop is being organised to encourage the aspiring dancers to learn about ballet. Further, through this workshop they would be able to distinguish between the different forms of ballet.
At the workshop, the participants are able to explore the exquisiteness of ballet dance. The participants are also exploring the different themes of ballet, plays and other cultural items and are learning the actual concept of staging them.
Saket is being prepared with great emphasis on creative style of dance, drama and music.
This poetry is solely written on lord Ram. Maithli Sharan Gupt has written the life span of lord Ram poetically. From his birth to Ram Sita wedding till his return to Ayodhya, Gupt has mentioned the entire journey of lord Ram in Saket. This journey would be presented by the ballet artists.
