The comedians, poets, singers and musicians will have a stage to give their best performances. An event ‘Funkaari’ will be held on Monday wherein all the young artists are invited to perform.
The Funkaari will be held at Kafe Kulture at 5 pm. The organiser of the event Rashee Anand informed about the event and said, “Funkaari is simply an event by artists, for artists.
We have a Curated Segment with some of the best performers of Bhopal. It's open for poets, comedians and musicians. Here, these artists get opportunity to hone their talent and to showcase them is quite beautiful. We also have an Open Mic Segment where people can register on the spot and perform,” she added.
Rashee is studying mass communication in Mumbai. Talking about organising the event she said that the primary reason for organizing this was to provide a stage to the artists of Bhopal as the young and budding artists of the city have a lot of potential, but not enough exposure. They have very few platforms where they get to discuss, create and hear good quality content.
She said that Funkaari offers them that opportunity. It'll be a fun event, she added further. From GIFlIF's winner Nishant, to 16 year olds who're performing for the first time will rock the stage.
There will be around 25 performances which will include poetry by Jayant Chibber, Niket Malviya, Nishant Upadhyay, Shimona Sharma, Avadhoot Potnis, comedy acts by Aditya Kulshreshth, Shishir Jain and music performances by Aman Arakh, Arindam Sinha, Shikhar Chaudhary and a few bands too.
