Fuelled by an old enmity, an 18-year- old youth and his friend were attacked with a sharp-edged weapon by two armed miscreants at Satnami Nagar under Piplani police station area late in the night on Monday.
According to the police, two persons were attacked by miscreants and were rushed to a nearby hospital where their condition is reportedly stable. Police were informed and on the receipt of the information a team reached the spot and after preliminary investigation registered a case against the accused who are still absconding.
The victims were identified as Golu Jogi and Raju and the accused was identified as Ammu Vishwakarma and Assu Vishwakarma, claimed the police. Golu sustained attack in his chest while Raju escaped unhurt.
During the investigation, it was found that the Golu had a fight with Ramesh few days ago who is father of Assu and Ammu. After the fight Ramesh left the spot and when his sons came to know about the incident they took sharp edged weapon and went in search for Golu and attacked him. Raju tried to save Golu but failed and was also beaten by the accused. The accused attacked Golu in his chest and shoulders and escaped the spot.
Police have started searching for the details of the accused as in the initial investigation the victim and his family were not able to provide details of the accused and their whereabouts.
The police have registered a case under section 307 and 34 of the IPC and have started search for the miscreants.
