Freezing cold conditions were witnessed at several places in the State with the famous hill station Pachmari witnessing lower than freezing temperature and Umaria recording 1 degree Celsius in the past 24 hours.
City witnessed the coldest night temperature of the season at 6 degree Celsius on Saturday. Among the major cities Gwalior and Jabalpur recorded night temperatures below 5 degree Celsius. Gwalior recorded night temperature at 4.6 degree Celsius, Jabalpur recorded night temperature at 4.8 degree Celsius and Indore recorded night temperature at 8 degree Celsius. In the nearby areas Hoshangabad recorded night temperature at 7.1 degree Celsius.
