The 86th free urology and general surgery camp will be organized at Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, on February 16. Eight American surgeons along with 18 trained paramedical staff will perform Urology and other general surgeries in the camp.
Dr Brandon Duglous will operate the Patients of Prostate enlargement and stone in Urethra aliments. Dr Jill Arganbright will operate the patients of Thyroid, Goitre, lumps on face and neck etc. Simultaneously plastic surgeon Dr Jaffery Dillow will operate the patients of cleft lips and cleft palate. Dr Temmy Neblock and Dr. Joel David will perform general surgeries of other ailing patients.
Three American anesthesiologists of Indian origin Dr Radha Sukhani, Dr Pratibha Khare and Dr Naina Sabharwal will also be in the team of surgeons. Patients admitted for surgeries will be provided free admission facility in the hospital, medicines, Food, Fruits, Free pathology and imaging investigations and follow up medical examinations etc.
Registration of patients will be done on Thursday February 16 from morning 8 to 2 pm in mid-day. Preliminary examination, pathology and imaging investigation will also be done from the same day till its completion. Patients identified for their surgeries will be admitted in the hospital on February 18. Surgeries will be performed from Feb 20 to 23. Operated patients will be discharged from 24th to 28 after assessing their health conditions. Bhopal based medical specialists and surgeons Dr CP Dewani, Dr Sudhir lokwani, Dr TK Gyanchandani, Dr Rajesh Valecha, Dr Rahul Agrawal and Dr Anand Kaale, Dr Deepak Jhangiani of Mumbai and Dr. Naresh Himthani of Apollo Ahemedabad will perform preliminarily and follow up examinations of the patients.
A target of surgeries of one hundred patients have been fixed on “First come – First serve” basis. Patients of various urinary disorders, Thyroid, Goitre, Cleft lips and cleft palates, spotted skin of burnt patients should bring their old priscriptions, pathology and imaging reports along with their documents of authentic personal identity proof in the camp.
