Four children drowned on Wednesday, when they had gone to take bath in Tapti river in Madhya Pradeshs Burhanpur district, police said. The deceased were identified as Virat Salve (6), his brother Monti Salve (10) and sister Payal Salve (12) and one Abha Tayde (15). Another child, Tarun Tayde, who had also gone take bath in the river but came out safely, informed the police. Hemant Salve, father of the three siblings, fished out the body of one of his children while other bodies were fished out by divers.
