The foundation of our relationship is a friend-like relationship we share between us and this is the secret behind out passionate chemistry” say television actors Raqesh Vashisth and Ridhi Dogra.
While talking exclusively to The Pioneer, the couple shared the secret of their chemistry and the passion they share on-screen and off-screen. The reel life couple turned real life couple when they tied knots on May 2011.
“I feel that a friendly relationship has it all love, liking, honesty or loyalty towards each other. We are like BFF, at least I feel that Raqesh is my best friend and I am happy that I married my BFF,” said Ridhi Dogra. “Our liking is so strong that we do not include the ‘love’ term in our relation and even though we are passionate towards each other and this is the USB of our bonding,” says Raqesh.
Raqesh and Riddhi did their first show with each other named Maryada lekin Kab TakIJ on Star Plus. During that show both begin to see each other and eventually got married. “From the scene one there was some instinct, that made us share a liking for each other,” said Raqesh. On asking about Nach Baliye, Raqesh and Riddhi said, “This is platform where we can spend a quality time together as we rarely get time to spend when we are shooting for different production and this is what we mostly like about Nach Baliye.” Adding more about the show Raqesh said, “Riddhi was always loved dancing but being a non-dancer I was always afraid of dancing. But, for Riddi’s love towards it, made me do the show and also it give me an opportunity to see myself as a dancer.”
Both the actors have created a space in the hearts of the viewers through the roles they have been playing on screen. Raqesh is seen as a romantic hero from the time he has worked in Tum Bin on the other hand Riddhi is portrayed as the Woman Hero through her women oriented roles. As they were talking about their dream roles, Raqesh said, “I don’t know why I get romantic roles, while I love action,” over this Riddi said, “Raqesh is the best co-actor as his on screen presence is so endearing that he is always casted for a romantic hero. If I talk about me I want to do romantic role,” she said laughingly. “We would love to work together again on screen,” they further added. The couple was here in the city for the promotions on Wednesday; they went for a spin in the lake and also relished poha and jalebi. They also went around the city for sightseeing and also enjoyed interactions with the citizens of Bhopal.
