Dissent continued in ruling BJP as former MLA from Bhopal Madhya constituency Dhruv Narayan Singh protested against the denial of ticket, near his residence in Arera Colony with hundreds of supporters on Sunday. Singh, son of former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Govind Narayan Singh has been sidelined in the party ever since his name popped up in RTI activist Shehla Masood murder case.
The Bhopal Madhya is represented by BJP MLA Surendranath Singh, a close aide of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and the former has been nominated by the party as its candidate in the first list.
