The Forest department is putting hurdles before Additional PCCF Azad Singh Dabas, who had few days ago contested the IFS officers’ association election for the post of president and had lost.
On September 24, Dabas was promoted to the post of Addl PCCF and posted at Minor Forest Produce Federation. The federation has five posts in the ranking of Addl PCCF including- Trade, Development, Task Force, Administration and CEO of Minor Forest produce research centre.
In these five places, the post of APCCF (Trade) is lying vacant, but the department did not consider posting Dabas on this post. The officials have come out with a special new position carved today only. It is known as Managing Director (Expansion) in Minor Forest produce. Orders in this regard have been issued on Tuesday.
Official sources said that this is the new post created by the department and the department officials do not know what would be the duties and responsibilities of the officer posted in this section. By the time, the operations under this section are decided, Dabas would remain attach to the office of MD in the Minor Forest Produce.
