The vibrant strokes over the canvas depicting the flawless beauty of nature through abstract is a must watch for the art enthusiast of the city. A solo painting exhibition ‘Introspection’ is being put up by an eminent artist Sumit Shinde.
The exhibition began here from Wednesday at Alliance Francaise de Bhopal’s art gallery. Hailing from Indore, this artist sees nature with different perception. For him the landscapes are a combination of various geometrical forms and this is what he showcased in his exhibition.
It can also be said that Sumit has presented his state of mind over the canvas. His expedition of painting the abstract form is flawlessly depicted in his paintings. The exhibition was inaugurated by Rahul Rastogi Director of Bhojpuri Kala Academy, Bhopal and Deputy Director of Ustad Allauddin Khan Sangeet and Kala Academy, Bhopal.
While talking about his works, Sumit shared that Introspection is nothing but a visual representation of his thoughts and his perceptions. He said that it is more than a feeling of what he thinks as he paints the plain canvas. “I started making these abstract forms when I was studying interior designing. I feel that these forms are there somewhere in my subconscious mind which attracts me to paint,” he added.
Over the years with continuous working on these forms, Sumit has developed his own style of painting. He has developed a perfection of his artistic world.
Sumit with adding an artistic pinch of his great imagery to the landscapes presented these geometrical forms artistically before the spectators. Working on those patterns Sumit has majestically unveiled the beauty of those over the canvas.
The entire exhibition is like an extravaganza for the art lovers of the city. It will be on view till October 18.
