An animation workshop was organized for the youngsters of the city, in which the students learnt about creating animation concluded here on Thursday.Organized by the computer department of Jawahar Bal Bhavan, the workshop was organized especially for the middle school and high school children.The five-day long animation workshop was much enjoyed by the students as they learnt to create their favourite characters come to live.During the workshop the children were made aware of the origin of animation, its history, an introduction to animation like what is animation, what place it hold in the world of entertainment and other necessary things about the animation.
The experts, during the workshop made the children aware about various animation industries that create animation for them just to entertain them. This was a great exposure for the children.The children were then exposed to the kinds of animation, film making, the process to make a film, principles and ethics of creating animation, and mail walk cycle.Notably, the workshop was organized for the school children so that they could learn a new thing and could explore to more creative ideas.The children were then learnt about the traditional and modern and computer animation.
The children also learnt to create 2D, 3D, stop motion, 3D animator, 2D manimator, 3D modular, lighting art, design, and creation of the object and many other basics and features of animation were taught to the children.Director of Jawhar Bal Bhavan Tripti Tripathi said, "This is the first time we had organized an animation workshop for the children. We are planning few more workshops for them. These workshops are in the pipeline," she added.The children learnt each and every step of animation with a lot of enthusiasm.On the concluding day, here on Thursday the children were distributed the appreciation certificates and mementoes.
