Five police personnel have been suspended for negligence in the investigation of the case related to the sexual assault of the three-year-old girl. Four were taken to task on Wednesday, while one was suspended on Thursday.
On Wednesday, four police personnel of Jehangirabad and Aishbagh police stations were suspended for not attending the case stating that the scene of crime falls in other police station. On Thursday one GRP ASI Vijay Rajak was suspended.
The four police personnel who were suspended on Wednesday were SI Sardar Singh, Head constable Sameer Singh of Jehangirabad FRV and ASI Ramesh Singh and Constable Amit Singh of Aishbagh FRV.
