Sound has been used from the ancient times as a medium of healing. The same traditional form of healing with Singing Bowls (Himalayan Bowls) and Gong is introduced to Bhopalites by the first woman Gong professional of the country Aarti Sinha.
The mystic professional Aarti Sinha has been involved in the field of alternative health and holistic wellbeing for past 20 years. Aarti has been healing patients of diabetes, heart disease, cholesterol and high blood pressure, insomnia, arthritis and anxiety.
“Sound Healing is an effective and proven modality that uses vibrational sound to help reduce stress, alter consciousness and create a deep sense of peace and better health,” she told The Pioneer.
On asking about the procedure of sound healing, Aarti said, “In all sound healing is relaxing in its nature and creates peace in mind, body and soul.”
Singing Bowls are 'struck and sung' in specific rhythmic patterns to create vibration sound harmonics at the frequency of ‘OM’. During the session, a specific number of Singing Bowls are placed on the person’s body. The practitioner then taps on the Singing Bowls following specific rhythm. As the bowls vibrate, they send waves of vibration throughout the person’s body, harmonizing their cells. Beautiful sound produced by the Singing Bowls also has a relaxing hypnotic effect on the brain, slowing brain waves and inducing deep a meditative state.
Known as the first Gong professional of India, Aarti’s journey began when she was 28 years old and was introduced to Art of living and Pranic Healing.
“During the same time I was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease, which led to severe deterioration in my body and mind.
Then I discovered the power of meditation, chakra healing, emotional freedom technique, sound healing and pranic healing. Since then, I decided to bring peace, strength and health into others’ lives.”
Aarti has been conducting Sound Healing and Gong Healing sessions across India since many years.
