People thought that since he is asking all of us, it may mean that his intention is to ask and so people written the exact meaning of the word. This is how a new word came into being which is ‘Quiz’.
He told the participants that Neil O'Brien was India's first quiz master who organized India's first big quiz in Calcutta in 1967. Sidharth Basu one of the famous quiz masters of India is the Raw Chief of Madras Café and also frames questions for Kaun Banega Crorepati.
Harsh told the participants that a person starts quizzing from the age of 6. “You should start taking part in quiz, because quizzing creates a desire to know something new in us every moment,” he added. Talking about the advantages of quiz, Harsh listed few points including lateral thinking will be developed, one becomes a lifelong inquirer, one becomes Knowledge leaders, develops a habit of winning.
While giving few tips, Harsh said that a quiz should be based on three things i.e. information, education and entertainment. “Focus on the team not the audience, Innovate every round, ask some crazy questions, Create cross-over question,” were some tips Harsh gave.
