Sagar Public School Saket Nagar conducted an ASPIRE Session with Kiran Bedi - Retd IPS, Former Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry for the Sagarites on – ‘You are the Master of Your Mind.’ Bedi interacted and inspired over 1000 Sagarites of Sagar Public School and highlighted on ‘How Can You Be The Master of Your Mind’ with a continuous learning process.
Bedi began the session by establishing the connect with Sagarites as the most memorable day of life highlighting each one as unique institution. He directed Sagarites to generate one idea each day, as one idea can connect India to Build Nation. She said, “There are two minds in us which works – First one is what you think? and the second one is the one which is making you think this way? Learning should be a continuous process and we should learn from all our five senses.” With pictures and videos in her presentation, Bedi shared various platforms and paths to create roots and add wings to children.
She scientifically shared the ‘3-Constant Mantra of Life’ - Change, Choice and Principles. Sharing examples of mantra, she explained Sagarites, change in your life will be constant as you will be growing with knowledge and your exposure to knowledge brings choice to you.
Principles are your values which makes you what you are and what you aspire for. Bedi instructed Sagarites to respect time with each minute, hour and day in life. She said, “Time will not stop. It is we need to identify its value. Time is Now.”
She said, Once you have set your goal, don’t waste time. Strive hard and utilize the time to achieve your goal. She directed Sagarites to practice goal setting each day and evaluate at the end of day how much it is achieved. Measure the variance of goal setting each day. Over a period of time you will master variance and start achieving goals which will make you a winner. Dr. Bedi also shared her own example of overcoming weakness. She said, “Weakness is fear. We all know our fears yet we escape from it. The best way to win over fear is - Fear the Fear and be self-reliant.
Sharing the Life Mantra with Sagarites, Bedi said, “Biggest Investment in Life is You. Invest in your-self with time and build a Better You. Each day strengthen your roots and add wings to Build Nation.” To encourage the meritorious Sagarites Bedi felicitated over Sagarites for their outstanding meritorious academic achievements by awarding scholarships starting from Rs one lakh to Rs 75,000.
Bedi also conducted a teachers’ motivational session at Sagar Public School, Rohit Nagar on Leadership is the New Normal in which she shared the mantra on New Normal Leadership Models as how to create and generate leadership qualities amongst students and make them lead as the future leaders of nation. Bedi was felicitated by Founder & Chairman Sagar Group Sudhir Kumar Agrawal and Principal of respective schools of session with votes of thanks for visiting the school and making efforts for guiding Sagarites and teachers.
