A firefighting awareness programme was held at Human Resource Development Centre recently in association with Central Industrial Security Force, educating the gathering about precautionary measures to be followed to avoid any fire incident in and around the workplace.
On this occasion BK Singh, Assistant Commandant, CISF briefed about the fire safety equipment and their uses. The trainees were given hands-on experience on how to use the equipments.
Brajesh Agarwal, AGM, HRDC; Deepak Makhija, Sr DGM, HRDC; HS Patel, Sr Engineer, HRDC and other officials were present. Suresh Nema, Sr Engineer, HRDC coordinated the entire programme.
Meanwhile, under the leadership of AMV Yugandhar, Executive Director BHEl, Bhopal the unit is being continuously modernised using internal resources and indigenous methods. Along with the modernisation of facilities as well as machines, cleaning of work places is going on in the unit.
In this direction renovation of Hydraulic Punching Press machine 9/A/114 of Fabrication shop in Switchgear division has been successfully carried out. MS Kinra, General Manager, CR Division the other day inaugurated the machine in Bay No; 07. On this occasion VK Jain, AGM; VK Verma, AGM; AK Maru, Sr DGM; YS Parmar, Manager and other officials were present.
The machine was not in working condition for the last 10 years. The piston, power packs and control equipment’s were damaged and to replace it hydraulic power packs have been installed.
