In the wake of upcoming by assembly elections security has been beefed up resulting in seizing of massive amount of firearms manufactured at Nayagaon Mauja village and arrested one person involved in the manufacturing of firearms; police have seized 14 firearms.
Dhirpura police, has seized firearms manufactured at large scale illegally at Nayagaon Mauja village said SP Datia Aman Singh Rathore while speaking with media persons at press conference in the police control room on Wednesday.
He informed that acting on a tip off In-charge Nayagaon police station Dhirpura Yadvendra Singh Gurjar reached the spot and arrested Parshuram (40) Jhansi, UP.
From his possession police seized 14 country made pistols and guns . The accused confessed that two of his aides are also involved who were identified as Feroz Khan and Qadir Khan These three people used to make and sell illegal weapons. A case under Arms Act has been registered against the accused.
Superintendent of Police Aman Singh Rathore has said that for the police team involved in this operation a recommendation for a reward of Rs 30,000 would be sent to senior officers.
