Enraged over a parking row, a 38-year old man sustained severe injuries after his motorbike was hit by a jeep at Rajabhoj Arcade under Bagh Sewania police station area on Saturday.
According to the police the victim Suresh Sharma was on his way back to home after closing his shop, a Sanchi Milk parlor and was hit by speeding vehicle of accused.
The victim was rushed to JP hospital from where he was referred to Hamidia hospital.
SDOP Misrod Atik Ahmed Khan said that the victim had a fight earlier with the accused and on Saturday. The accused came in a jeep and parked it in front of the victim’s shop, which the victim opposed. On this the accused started to abuse the victim and got engaged over a fight. The verbal spate between the two was pacified by the locals.
Almost on the close of the fight, the victim shut down his shop and was leaving for home. But the accused, still hostile, hit the victim with speeding jeep, due to which the victim sustained severe injuries and his condition is reportedly critical, he added. The accused went absconding after injuring the victim. Police have not found the details of the jeep used by the accused and the whereabouts of the accused, which are yet to be found.
Criminal record of the accused is been searched. The search for the accused has intensified.
The police have registered a case under section 307 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
