Facing infertility problemIJ Here one can get benefited with different techniques available with test tube baby centres functioning in the State Capital. The charge for getting a child at these centres varies from Rs50,000 to Rs1.50 lakh.
Sources claim that this cost is for one cycle only, which does not guarantee conception.late marriage and delay in conception or postponement of child-bearing by couple are the main reasons leading to increasing infertility in society.This situation has provided a chance to these centres to flourish.The test tube baby centres in the State Capital claim that they provide facilities of IUI (Intrauterine Insemination), In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Intracytoplasmic Morphological Sperm Injection (IMSI),Testicular Sperm Aspiration (TESA) and a few others.
"Our hospital was the first to provide IUI, IVF, ICSI and other facilities like egg preservation, laser hatching etc in Bhopal. We provide treatment with all the latest techniques under one roof.On an average 100 patients visit us monthly. Along with Bhopal we get patients from Indore, Dhar, Agra, Allahabad, Gwalior, lucknow etc," said Dr Randhir Singh of Bhopal Test Tube Baby Centre.He added that postponement of conception, stress, busy lifestyles of the couples are the main reasons for the increase in infertility cases in Bhopal.
Similarly, Dr Viraj Jaiswal of Mayo Test Tube Baby Centre, Bhopal said that her hospital was established in 2009."We provide all the facilities like IUI, IVF, ICSI, TESA etc. Under my treatment, a woman of 53 years was conceived by IVF technique and successfully delivered twins. This is the first successful case in Madhya Pradesh of this kind. Along with India we get patients from countries like Dubai, America, Canada, etc. On an average 20-25 patients visit us regularly," she said, adding that her patients are free to pay the treatment charges in installments.
The Malti Hospital and Test Tube Baby Centre is next in the series. Its director Dr Malti Bhojwani says, "The success rate of conception in our hospital varies from 35 %-40 %. We cater for all the requirements under one roof.We provide treatment in a cost effective manner. Treatment charges for one cycle ranges from Rs70,000 to Rs75,000."
Yet another test tube centre in Bhopal is Vijay Maternity and Test Tube Baby Centre, situated at Gautam Nagar.
