A fashion show Blue Ocean Designer Creativity Show 2013-14 was organised at Samanvay Bhawan here on Friday. Organised by Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT), Bhopal the theme of the show was ‘Women of Tomorrow.”
Femina Miss India (International) Zoya Afroz and Femina Miss Popular Supriya Amen 2014, Textile Designer Aprajita Agarwal and Director of Kaya Botique Tina Verma were present as the chief guests of the show.
The dresses of the show were being designed by the students of the IIFT which were beautifully presented before the audience through ramp walk.
Special attraction of the show were the rounds like the Experimental round, Incredible India, Hello Yellow, Bandez with lehriya, Aqua Colours with Pre Bridal, Polka Dots and Checks White with Neon Colour Spring Collection and other creative dresses were on display through ramp walk.The show consisted of 15 rounds in which 12 rounds were for the competition of the IIFT students and the rest three rounds were non competition rounds.
In one of the rounds Femina Miss India (International) Zoya Afroz and Femina Miss Popular Supriya Amen 2014 also walked on the ramp displaying one of the creative dresses. This made the students even more enthusiastic about their creative skills and also encouraged them to achieve more. Their professional ramp walk made the show even more interesting and full of life.
Notably, the broad aim of the show is to give an opportunity to the students to enhance their skills and also to improve and broaden their imaginations in the creative filed. This may also help them to design different and colourful costumes which would prove to be fruitful for their future.
The event concluded with a lot of ecstasy where the entire designer participants did a ramp walk with the both Femina Miss India which gave the show a professional look. later, the chief guests of the show presented memntos to all the participants along with the participant certificate. Coupons were also given to all the participants as a gift voucher by Blue Ocean.
Further, Director of IIFT Bhopal Ajit Nayyar along with all the faculty members and fashion photographer Mukesh Rathore was also present.
