Fee has been reduced for registration of A-1 and A-2 category contractors working on deposit work of Own Your Transformer (OYT) in 16 districts of Bhopal, Gwalior, Hoshangabad and Chambal divisions under jurisdiction of Central Region Power Distribution Company.
Fee for registration of contractors for OYT works has been reduced from `5 lakh to `2 lakh and for A-1 category contractor from `5 lakh to `50,000 for other works.
Electricity contractors have been asked to login to contract programme on www.mpcz.co.in and deposit fee. Only then they would be released contracts.
For this, registration will be made with the company only once, which would be recognized for operating in company's areas. Registrations will be made only online. Registration deposit amount is fully refundable.
As per wish, contractors can get their contracts revoked and entire deposit amount refunded. Only eligible contractors will be given work for OYT/Farmers Subsidy Scheme.
