Declaring that his Government would not allow any Foreign Direct Investment in the soil of Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Thursday claimed that youths of every community in the State would be made entrepreneurs.

Chouhan further said that the Congress did not trust tribal people and added that though it made a tribal as the State president but it was not ready to announce him as the chairman of the election campaign committee. He was addressing a public meeting during his ongoing ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’ that reached Jhabua on Thursday.

The Chief Minister informed that his Government has resolved to save the business of small businessmen, and had already informed its stated stand over the issue to the Central Government.

He said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was saving the honour and dignity of the tribal community. Congress still did not believe on the tribals and this being the fact that despite making a tribal state head it was not ready to make him the chairman of the State campaign committee. The 10 years rule of the BJP in the State overshadowed the 55-year rule of the Congress, he added.

Chouhan said the Congress always wished to burden the tribals under debt and announced that like wheat the State Government would also provide bonus of `150 on maize. Talking about a series of his Government achievements, Chouhan said the BJP Government has constructed 90,000 kilometres of roads during its nine year rule, a feat that was not done in the 55 years rule of the Congress.

He said every village of the State would be connected with road, farmers would get enough water for irrigation in every field and electricity that was not available during the Congress regimes is being provided round the clock under its rule. There would not be any hungry person in the State, the poor are provided with `1 per kg wheat and iodized salt and `2 per kilogram rice. The tribal occupying forest land need not to leave it, they would get the patta of that land under the Forest Right Act, he promised.
