Father seeks justice for 'murdered' son

My son was not killed by the train but he has been murdered by someone. I have complained about this to senior police officials but they have not taken any action against anyone. I just want strict action against the responsible people as no one could get my son back,” alleged Prahlad Singh Kushwaha, the father of the deceased Mahendra Kushwaha.

Notably, Mahendra Kushwaha had died on September 16 after being hit by the speeding train near the Malikheda railway bridge.

While talking to the media persons here on Sunday, Kushwaha further told that Mahendra was at his in-laws house during the incident.

Mahendra and his in-laws also had a dispute on September 15. Jyoti, the wife of Mahendra had called him and said that Mahendra is quarreling and warned that he would commit suicide.

However, Mahendra was found dead on the next day at the Malikheda railway bridge near the Chola Mandir area of the city.

Kushwaha further alleged that Mahendra was murdered by someone as he was quite normal after the dispute. He had called Mahendra and ordered him to come home. He also answered that he is coming home.

But few minutes later, when he had called Mahendra again, someone else picked the call but said nothing while in the background Mahendra was asking for water.

Kushwaha said that he had felt that Mahendra was beaten up by someone that is why he was asking for water.

Kushwaha added that the police officials are not investigating the case properly. He has complained regarding this several times to the senior police officials but no action was taken.
