Putting father-daughter relations to the shame, a dalit man molested his teenage daughter in the city for over six months. On receipt of a complaint, the police have arrested him. The incident came to light only few days back when mother of the victim lodged a complaint to this effect with Mahila police station incharge Madhu Pangare, accusing her husband of raping her daughter for the past six months.
DIG Rakesh Gupta informed that following the complaint, a DSP of the women cell, Neeraj Amrit Thale probed into the matter and found that the accused who is a mechanic by profession, living in Ahirkheri locality under Rajendra Nagar police station of the city had been sexually molesting his daughter through intimidation.
The victim, who according to police is 8th standard pass had confided about the matter to her mother sometime back. Initially, her mother did not believe her but when she herself became a witness to the gruesome and shameful incident on November 25, she was taken aback.
