A man and his son were critically injured after they were attacked by armed assailants at Naya Basera under Kamla Nagar police station area late in the night; The man lost his finger in the attack.
Fuelled with old enmity Devendra Rangele and his father Rambaksh Rangele were attacked by six miscreants and stone pelted of the same area late in the evening and later after victims reported incident with police they were attacked with sharp edged weapons late in the night.Police said that the Devendra sustained head injury after he was attacked with stone at around 10 in the evening by Shahil, Pathan, Jackie and others. The accused threatened her of life and warned not to interfere in their matter.
The victims approached police and lodged complaint and were provided with primary treatment.
Late in the night when the victim were sitting outside their house miscreants appeared with sharp edged weapons and attacked Devendra and when Rambaksh came to rescue him he was attacked with sharp edged weapon in which he lost his finger.The victims were rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition is reportedly stable. After the attack accused escaped the spot and are still missing. In his complaint victim claimed that accused have old enmity with them as they are involved in wrong doings in the area. Police have started searching for the accused who are still at large.The police have registered a case of attempt to murder, rioting and assaulting by entering the house against the miscreants who was absconding. The family member of the accused would be questioned and their earlier crime record would be searched.
