The International Institute of Fashion Designing (INIFD) Bhopal, organized a fashion show at The lounge, DB City here on Thursday.
The fashion show, ‘Raga –A Fashion Show’ for kids and youngsters was organized with the association of Ritu Wears Big life. The fashion show featured the beautiful and colourful attire designed by the first year students of INIFD, Bhopal.
Various noted models of the city walked over the ramp. This was not all for the audience to watch even the kids did a spectacular ramp walking that enthralled everybody present there. Notably, this fashion show was one of its kinds as the models from different parts of the country ramp walked before the Bhopalites. A proper audition was held to select these models.
The show stopper of the fashion show was a noted bollywood actress and Miss India pageant 2006 Amruta Patki.
Notably, Amruta Patki is an Indian model and former beauty queen. She won Femina Miss India 2006 subsequently winning the Femina Miss India Earth title and representing India at the Miss Earth 2006 pageant. There she attained the title of Miss Earth Air 2006.
Currently Patki works as a model and has made her acting debut in the 2010 Bollywood film Hide and Seek. Her Marathi debut film as a female lead Satya savitri satyavan release in July 2012 she also got nomination for radio mirchi music awards 2012 as a debut singer for madalasa, promotional song of her marathi film.
While talking to the media persons here on Thursday, Amruta Patki said, “Such kind of programmes and events encourage the new generation to choose a different path for them. Further, it also gives an opportunity to the aspirants to make a career in fashion world.”
The show was choreographed by a noted choreographer Alim Khan. He also appreciated the creations and hard work of the INIFD students. The show was a big hit and the spectators enjoyed watching the wonderful creations by the students of INIFD.
