A fashion show ‘Designer Creativity Show 2016-17’ was organised at Hotel Kalandi on Friday.
Organised by Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT) Bhopal, the fashion show was an extravagant event of imagination, innovation and creativity altogether. On the occasion, Preeti Bacchani founder of Studio S and Kanchan Dehlani Freelancer Fashion Designer were present as the judges of the creative show.
The dresses that were presented during the fashion show were designed by the students of IIFT, Bhopal. As many as 120 students presented their creations before the fashion freaks of the city. A brilliant ramp walk was organised on the occasion to display the dresses. Interestingly, as the dresses were designed by the students of IIFT they were also presented by the students only on the ramp.
The attraction of the show was the special rounds of the ramp walk. This year the students of IIFT created dresses on different themes given to them. There were seven rounds like The Experimental round, the Innovation Creation round, the Traditional round, the Indo-Western round, the Single Colour round wherein the students presented colour ‘Golden’, there was Exclusive Black creation round. The round that took the audience’s hearts away was ‘The Madhya Pradesh Bagh Print’ round. Students beautifully and creatively presented the Bagh Print of the State on ramp.
It was a heart-warming presentation by the IIFT young designers.
Notably, the aim of the show was to give an opportunity to the students to enhance their skills and also to improve and broaden their imagination in the creative field.
The event concluded with a lot of ecstasy as the designers did a ramp walk together. later the winners were announced. In each round there was a winner and a runner-up.
