Madhya Pradesh Government has opted suppression of farmers and has turned into a killer. The protest was peaceful but the State sponsored firing on famers was not acceptable said farmer leader Shivkumar while speaking with mediapersons in New Delhi.
Sharma said that to raise our demands on June 15 a nationwide protest would be staged at Jantar Mantar in Delhi and would witness thousands of protesters from Madhya Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and other States.
Alleging that the Modi Government is of industrialist and it is responsible for inciting the protest. From the start of the protest 12 farmers have martyred but Ministers of Madhya Pradesh Government have only issued statements.
Criticising firing in Mandsaur Shivkumar said that police have not shot the farmers in their hands and legs but they were shot in their chest and a case of murder should be registered against the Chief Minister of the Madhya Pradesh.
He said that the State Government should be dismissed and President rule should be imposed.
After violent farmer protest in few districts alert has been issued in the State of Madhya Pradesh. The National Highways would remain close from 12 noon till 3 pm on the day of the protest.
