The amount of crop loan waiver will be deposited in the bank accounts of all the eligible farmers from February 22 to March 01, 2019 under the Jai Kisan Fasal Rin Maafi Yojana. The Chief Minister Kamal Nath will inaugurate the activity for transferring the amount of crop loan waiver in the loan accounts of the farmers in Ratlam on February 22.
As per the decision of the State Government, farmers’ convention will be organized at tehsil level in 383 rural tehsils of the state between February 25 and March 01.
Loan waiver certificates will be given to the current loan account holding farmers for waiver in time barred crop loan cases during the conventions. After the recommendations of the District Execution Committee formed under the Chairmanship of the District In-Charge Minister, the amount will be deposited in the concerned bank according to the provisions of the scheme.
Kisan Samman Tamrpatras and Crop Loan Waiver certificates will be presented to the farmers during the Kisan Sammelans to be organized at tehsil level. Instructions have been given to send Kisan Samman Tamrpatra and Loan waiver certificate through field staff to the house of the farmer, in case of his/ her absence in the programme.
Provisional claims of 20.28 lakh crop loan accounts have been approved by the branches of all the banks till 8 am. of February 20. Total 1.89 lakh claims in the form of final settlement have been approved for payment. Out of this, during the period from 8 pm of Tuesday till 8 in the morning on Wednesday, 87,000 claims have been approved as final settlement for payment.
