The Directorate of Horticulture and Food Processing is providing training to the farmers on "Certificate Course in Gardening".
In the year 2022-23, the training has been organised with the objective of providing employment opportunities by upgrading the skills of the farmers interested in the state funded scheme Farmer Training-cum-Excursion and to get trained and technically qualified candidates for the recruitment of skilled workers, gardeners in the department in the coming year.
The duration of the training has been fixed at 200 hours (25 days).
30 farmers are to be selected for the training programme. Farmers having interest in horticulture, whose minimum educational qualification is Class 8th, can register themselves for training in the horticulture office of the district by August 25 on the website of mpfsts portal https://mpfsts.mp.gov.in/mpphd/#/. Farmers will be selected on the basis of fixed target and "first come-first serve".
