A farm fest Anant Mandi will be held on Sunday, at Gandhi Bhawan.
Anant Mandi (an organic farmers’ and local artisans’ market) is a collaborative initiative of Anant, Go Rurban and Gandhi Bhavan, which aims to promote healthy, local and seasonal food and sustainable farming. This initiative is also an attempt to create an eco-conscious community in Bhopal.
Anant Mandi is organized on the second and fourth Sunday of every month at Gandhi Bhawan. Organic farmers from nearby districts in Madhya Pradesh bring and sell a variety of food products like vegetables, grains, pulses, oil, honey, jaggery, dairy products, khaad, herbal medicines and personal care products. Apart from this, we also conduct various workshops, discussions, art gatherings and interesting activities for all age groups.
On Sunday, Anant Mandi will have a variety of products like organic vegetables, grains, dairy products, oil, honey, cloth bags, zari zardozi bags This Christmas Special Anant Mandi will have a variety of food stalls with South Indian snacks, barbecue, salad, soup, cakes. Apart from this, a pottery workshop will be facilitated by renowned ceramic artist Veena. To make the evening more joyful, Adhirohah-The Band and a flautist Abhishek Rathore will join us with their blissful music performances.
In the new year 2021, Anant Mandi will be organised in Gandhi Bhawan on the second and fourth Sunday of every month.
