Family members of the auto rickshaw driver claimed that he was killed over a dispute with the other vehicle drivers over passengers; Aamir alias Sameer Uddin was killed in Kolar area on Thursday.
In the investigation, the accused revealed that they had instructed Aamir not to talk to the girl but he continued to talk and was killed. Later, the brother of the deceased claimed that it was not a dispute about the girl. The dispute took place regarding the passengers of the auto rickshaw and due to rivalry his brother was killed.
TI Ashutosh Upadhyay said that investigation is being done from every angle. At present, it has come to light that the youth was murdered over a dispute, but the accused are constantly changing their statements.
Family alleged that Sameer was murdered over a rivalry over a ride as he used to take rides at reasonable rates. Due to this, Asaram felt that his business was not doing well because of Sameer.
DCP Zone-4 Sunder Singh Kanesh said that apart from accused Sanjay and Asaram, two minors have been arrested. All are residents of Bhanpur. The accused told during interrogation that Sameer used to talk to a girl. Even after stopping him several times, he does not stop talking to her. There was a dispute on this issue on Wednesday also and later called him on Thursday on the pretext of talking, where an argument took place. He was attacked with a hammer and rod, due to which he lost his life.
DCP said that no girl has come forward at present. The CDR of the deceased will be scrutinized. It is estimated that the accused are talking nonsense to protect themselves.
