Denying the allegations leveled by Mahan Sangharsh Samiti and Greenpeace regarding circulation of a fake letter in Ameliya village, Mahan Vikas Manch (MVM) claimed that it is another gimmick and desperate act to gain attention by Greenpeace and MSS after it has lost all ground support in the village.
In a statement, MVM spokesman lalchand Shah stated such unsubstantiated allegations and unethical conduct to gain cheap publicity and discredit the pro-development movement of villagers is condemnable. Such acts are indication of their intention to create an unfavourable atmosphere to deter, misguide and confuse villagers.
