Minister for Public Relations, Water Resources and Parliamentary Affairs Narottam Mishra said that facility of good roads is the right of public and Government’s priority. Mishra said this while performing bhoomi poojan of Gwalior –Jhansi road to Sonagir costing Rs 22 lakh in a programme at Datia today. This 2.75 kilometer road will be constructed by the Public Works Department. Better road facility will provide good transit facility to Sonagir tourist area and to the villagers of other villages.
Mishra said that development of rural areas became possible due to good roads. Sonagir is an important and big religious area of the Jain Community. Special focus should be laid to ensure good condition of the road. He further said that a road network has been laid in the villages of the State.
Moreover, special attention has been paid for road construction in Datia area. Whichever road needs construction after the repair will be constructed with quality.
