The exhibition-cum-sale displaying the silk and chiffon materials ‘Colours of Royal Chiffon’ at Mrignayanee Emporium GTB Complex is evoking a good response by the Bhopalites.
The exhibition organised by Mrignayanee Emporium of Madhya Pradesh Handicrafts and Handloom Development Corporation, started on Wednesday and goes on till April 21.The exhibition is all about handloom chiffon.
While talking to The Pioneer, Manager of Mrignayanee, Ml Sharma said, “The handloom lovers can explore the variety of silk and chiffon embedded with the best karigari.” He further said. “This is the first time we have organized an exhibition-cum-sale on silk chiffon It showcases a wide variety of sarees that could really add to the wardrobe this season.
One could find a wonderful collection of sarees and dress materials in silk chiffon.“We would endeavour to organize this fair in the coming years as well,” he added.
The cost of the silk saree and dress materials starts from Rs3700 going to the highest till Rs 68000. “There is embroidery work done on the sarees that beautifies the borders and corners of sarees making it look more elegant.”
