During the prevailing election code of conduct, the excise department on the instructions of Assistant commissioner excise Indore Rajnarayan Soni has made special teams to check the illegal transportation and hoarding of liquor.
The excise team raided the house number 340, Bheel Paltan in Chavani circle and seized 321 quarters of country made liquor which amounts to total of 57.8 bulk litre. The accused Sanjay age 25 years son of asharam bheel was arrested under section 34(1) and 34(2).
District excise controller Rajeev Dwivedi, ADEO Santosh Singh Kushwaha, ADEO Rajiv Mudgal and S I Priyanka Sharma were the part of the trap team.
