Fuelled over the old enmity between two groups of eunuchs, a eunuch was attacked and was shot at near Fategarh fire station on Tuesday; police officials claim that no bullet was fired and registered only a case of assault.
According to the Talaiya police, firing was not witnessed in the area which has been described by the victim eunuch Kajal Thakur.
Police have claimed that the whole incident was fabricated by the victim and which has been found in the initial investigation. The groups are trying to harm members of other groups which have been witnessed in the past and by fabricating members of other group in crimes of serious nature compromise for the release of the eunuchs could be done.
In the complaint lodged by Kajal Mumbaiya when she was near Raju tea stall at around 3 pm Kajal Thakur opened fire at her and escaped the spot but police findings did not supported the claims made by the complainant and later the two groups were pacified after police intervention.
The enmity started after Abrar alias Sarika was bobbitised on February 4 and four eunuchs were nabbed by Mangalwara police and case of attempt to murder was registered against the four.
later Kajal Thakur attacked Parveen with sharp edged weapon after few days of the incident.
The nabbed eunuchs were the leaders of the Managalwara group and the group members demanded release of their leader but failed in their efforts and raised allegations that the arrested leaders have been fabricated.
