Encroachment over a hectare of Government land of Physical College is expanding rapidly as illegal construction of house over an area of 1500 sqft is continuing for the past one week.
Notices have been issued to the encroachers earlier but all in vain and encroachment further mushroomed at speedily manner.
On the Government land of college, a catering operator has started construction of a house over 1500 sqft near road towards Chintaharan temple. The construction has been undergoing for the past one week.
Already there are more than 100 encroachments. Municipal Council to Revenue department all are aware of the illegal construction but nothing is been done to stop the construction.
Principal of Physical College Salamat Khan said that a written complaint has been submitted with the municipal council and the SDM but still the construction work is on.
He said that SDM has been complained twice and along with the municipal council and police have been provided with written complaint but the construction is still going on. If the administration is not helping to solve the problem, college will be helpless and nothing would be done.
Sports and Welfare Minister Yasodhara Raje Scindia had issued orders to SDM Rupesh Updhyay and municipal council to remove the encroachment but still action is awaited.
The municipal council has issued notices to more than 100 encroachers but later no action was taken against the encroachers. The negligence in taking action towards the encroachers has lead to encroachment over around a hectare area of Government land.
