With its determination to give employment to the youth, the state government will provide self-employment to a large number of youths by organising employment fairs in all the districts of Madhya Pradesh on the occasion of Youth Day on January 12.
Secretary MSME P Narhari informed that in view of the immense possibilities of self-employment in Madhya Pradesh, many self-employment schemes are being operated through various departments and banks. He informed that major schemes like Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, Chief Minister Rural Street Vendor Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Standup India Scheme, Prime Minister's Employment Generation Programme, National Rural Livelihood Mission, National Urban Livelihood Mission etc. are being operated.
Secretary Narhari has written a letter to all the Commissioners, Collectors and Heads of Departments informing that the ambitious Mukhya Mantri Udyam Kranti Yojana has been started by the State Government to encourage self-employment, in which a large number of youths will be linked to self-employment.
For the successful implementation of all the above self-employment schemes, it is necessary that the government agencies, financial institutions, beneficiaries, training, entrepreneurship centres and departments work together related to the schemes.
For this purpose, the decision has been taken by the government to celebrate statewide self-employment, employment day on January 12, 2022. In this, district level programmes at all the district headquarters and a state level programme will be organised. He said that as per the intention of the government, cent percent approval in all schemes related to self-employment, employment should be ensured before organising the fair.
In state and district level programmes, acceptance distribution letters will be given to the beneficiaries. The people desirous of self-employment will be introduced to the experienced people already established in self-employment, so that the youths can get the benefit of their experiences.
Along with this, the exhibition of materials made by the successful and established beneficiaries of self-employment schemes, counselling and guidance will be provided regarding self-employment under the self-employment schemes to the youth attending the conference through subject-experts. Stalls of various departments, banking institutions etc. will be set up in the fair where youths will get information about employment schemes, self-employment possibilities, banking facilities etc.
