For electrification of railways, works related to laying of power supply lines are being executed on war footings, said Managing Director PAR Bende of Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company limited.
He said that along with the works of power management company priority work of railways is done with promptness to complete the works to meet the deadline.
The power management company to fulfill its commitment had worked in accordance with the railways and undertaken work electrification of railways at different places. Work at four places have been done, work at ten places is undergoing while tenders for six places have been floated. Three places have been completed with TSS work.
The work of electrification of railways is undergoing in different zones in speedily manner. Madhya Pradesh Power Transmission Company limited has completed work power supply lines at four places in Mangliagaon(Indore) , Sehora Road, Majhgaon and Rewa before the establishment of traction sub-station(TSS).
At three places Parasia, Narsinghpur and Bankhedi TSS work has been completed and the system is used by railways. There are 10 places where work of TSS is undergoing and the places are Jawra, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Asohk Nagar, Singrauli, Dabora, Kaira, Bhadanpur, Patwara and Bhatuni.
At six places work of TSS would be started soon. These places are Saunsar, linga(Chindwara), Ghansaur, Nainpur, Hatta Road(Balaghat) and Seoni Nainpur. The orders have been issued for starting the work and would start soon.
Tender process has been floated for six places which are Khanna Banjari, Biohari, Marwasgram, Gajra Behra, Harpalpur and Nimadi (Orchha).
