Electricity company makes ITI mandatory

Published on:
The electricity company has made ITI certification compulsory for appointment on compassionate ground for technical employees. Factually, a large number of applicants are without ITI certificate. The chief general manager (HR) and administration Ratnakar Jha said in his order that camps would be organised for the pending cases of compassionate appointments.
In the camp the application would be verified and the application forms of those applicants who had not done ITI would be rejected. The electricity company would provide appointments to the employees who had died during service period. The compassionate appointment is being talked since 2012 on the ordinary death. But due to condition of ITI many applicants would be out of competition.
The regional secretary of Madhya Pradesh Vidyut Karmchari Sangh federation (INTUC) lK Dubey expressed anger saying that it is trickery with those who have been hoping for compassionate appointment. So the federation would submit a memorandum to the chief minister and energy minister to remove the condition and reconsider the case. If the compassionate appointment is made from the year 1989 a large number of applicants would benefit.
