To politicise the issue related to land reforms in the lok Sabha election, Ekta Parishad will extensively put its efforts. In the Assembly elections held recently in four States, the Parishad had tried to include its demands in the manifesto of political parties.
The Parishad had also come out with slogan of ‘No land No Vote’, instead of ‘Vote first then land’. Now, the political parties will be pressurised for including the similar slogans along with other issues of water, forest, and land apart from issues pertaining accommodation and social security in their manifesto.
This announcement was made by acting president of the Parishad Run Singh on the last day of the three-day State-level convention organised on the issue ‘Possibilities and challenges of land reform in Madhya Pradesh’.
It was decided in the convention that issues related to deprived sections of the society need to be raised for strengthening the organisation. These sections of the society should be provided with the benefits of various social security programmes and youngsters should be given priority.
Deepak Agrawal had been selected as convener in Madhya Pradesh, while Shobha Tiwari would shoulder the responsibility of Mahakaushal. Santosh Singh has been named for Bundelkhand and Baghelkhand, while Udaybhan Singh would work in Chambal. Shraddha Kashyap has been given responsibility of Malwa division.
Conveners and workers also expressed their views regarding the achievements of the organisation and also discussed challenges, organizational status and other aspects in the convention.
