Additional District Magistrate Bhopal South Basant Kurre has issued externment order to eight habitual offenders under the Madhya Pradesh State Security Act (SSA).
According to the issued orders the frequent involvement in criminal activities, anti-social activities and actions resulting in creating tension and panic in the society led to the externment of Shaitan Singh alias Siddhant Ahirwar of Kolar police station area, Anoop Dholpuria of Kamla Nagar police station area, Ganesh alias Gannu of Ashoka Garden police station area, Ankit Raikwar, Ganesh Chouhan and Sonu Singh of TT Nagar police station area, Bunty alias Devendra Joshi and Jeevan Sharma alias Pilla of Piplani police station area.
They have been externed for a period of 6 month and had to serve the term beyond the limits of Bhopal district. The externs are also not allowed within the limits of the nearby districts Sehore, Vidisha, Raisen, Rajgarh and Hoshangabad. The orders were issued due to the involvement of these habitual offenders and are booked for several serious crimes.
The criminals were externed on the basis of reports submitted by respective police stations detailing of the serious crimes committed by them in the last few years. Their involvement in the crimes like rioting, physical assault, attempt to murder, extortion and kidnapping was established.
These orders were issued after several warnings issued to these criminals to mend their ways but the warning were not taken seriously by them which forced the administration to take precautionary steps for the safety and security of the people.
