State Election Commissioner R Parasuram has said that integrated efforts should be undertaken to prevent situation of re-polling during second and third phase of Panchayat elections. Parasuram reviewed election preparations for Rewa, Sagar divisions and Bhind district on Wednesday.Parasuram said that re-polling at most places in the first phase was held due to error in ballot papers. Special attention should be paid to this issue in next phases of polling. He directed to make arrangements to control pre and post-poll violence. Parasuram directed for early distribution of voter slips.
