Edu system in Mhow comes to grinding halt

Published on:

The Government education system in Mhow has completely came to a halt as many Government schools remain closed and teachers are absent in the schools which are open.

This shocking fact came in light when Mhow SDM Anshul Gupta suddenly visited the government schools without any prior information. Primary schools of village Raskundiya, village Durjanpura and village Dand were found locked. The teachers of this school Sohanlal Gadge, Rajendra Singh Rajput Hridayalata Saxena Mohan Singh Mourya were found absent.

Similarly, schoolteacher Anita Meda of primary government school of village Kaneriya and school teacher Pooja Ahirwar and Dinesh Chandra Aske and Dilip Bhalse of primary school Gazinda were found absent. SDM Mhow Anshul Gupta has issued a show-cause notice to all the 10 teachers who were found absent.

Few years back, the teachers going to the government schools of Indore division used to submit their attendance through their mobile phones through an app which worked when the teacher reached the school campus. This online attendance kept vigil on the teachers’ presence in schools.

At present, this online app of teachers’ attendance is not functioning. But this could certainly check the condition of government schools, if re-started soon. Besides, to improve the situation, new teachers could be given chance to serve as Jansikshaks.
