The Excise Department caught two accused Mukesh Mujalde and Sital Jaiswal on the charge of carrying more than 50 bulk liters of country made liquor on their two-wheeler Honda Activa MP09 UF 8157. A case under sections 34 (1) and 34 (2) of the Excise Act was registered against the accused.
Indore collector Manish Singh has ordered the zero tolerance against the sale manufacture and transportation of illegal liquor and to arrest the people involved in this crime. Assistant commissioner excise Indore Rajnarayan Soni has ordered controller Rajiv Dwivedi to trap the illegal liquor sale. ADEO R K Nigam and S I Devendra Sharma arrested the accused red handed with 300 units of liquor bottles in Malwa mill area in afternoon.
