Election Commission of India will hold a video-conferencing with all State Chief Electoral Officers including MP on Friday for reviewing arrangements to ensure smooth availability of all information technology-related services to voters.
State’s Chief Electoral Officer Jaideep Govind will participate in the video-conferencing from 3 pm. During the video-conferencing, point-wise review will be undertaken regarding electoral lists on CEC’s website, Form-20 data and candidates’ affidavits, posting of polling booths on google map and their rationalisation. Besides, availability of facilities and polling centres, hardware-software and IT manpower, availability of EVMs and updated information regarding photo ID cards will also be discussed at the video-conferencing.
