The Election Commission of India has approved EVM (Electronic Voting Machine) and VVPAT (Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trail) machines manufactured by the Bharat Electronics Ltd, Bengaluru and Electronics Corporation of India for casting votes in Vidhan Sabha Election-2018. Both the machines will be used for casting votes and record in Vidhan Sabha constituencies in Vidhan Sabha Election- 201.
