In compliance of order of High Court the district police of Morena and forest department have started drive to check illegal mining from Chambal River in district Morena.Under the drive the armed jawans would be deployed at 72 Ghats of Chambal River from Sabalgarh to Porsa. Permanent pickets would be establishing on the way of transport of send.
This action would be started jointly by the forest department revenue department and police department. This information was given to the reporters by the SP Morena Irshad Ali, DFO Binsent Rahim and ADM Buddesh Vaidya jointly. The SP Irshad wali said that 72 Ghats from Sabalgarh to Porsa have been identified from where. Illegal sand mining is conducted. On all these Ghats armed jawans would be deployed and permanent pickets should be establishing on the way.
In addition to this mobile squads would also be formed to keep watch on the illegal sand transport. Amount of reward on the miscreants who are attacked the police team would be increase and their property would be confiscated.
