The Public Health Engineering department is health-conscious while providing clean drinking water to people in rural areas.
The departments has made alternate drinking water arrangements in 6,881 quality-affected villages. The same will be done in remaining 1,843 villages by the end of this fiscal. The department is also ensuring regular testing of pubic sources of water through departmental labs at state, district and development block.
